Terorismus jako hrozba pro Evropskou unii

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on terrorism and its impact on the European Union. The aim of this work is to describe this phenomenon, its impact on the Security Policy of the European Union and its influence on the Czech Republic and its counter-terrorism provisions. The work is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter provides a general definition of terrorism, its development stages, methods, and also states which are or were suspected of financing terrorism. The second chapter describes the Security Policy of the European Union and instruments adopted under it. The third chapter is focused on the Czech Republic and its way of fighting with terorrism.
