Finanční benchmarking vybraných průmyslových podniků

Abstract

Cílem této diplomové práce je vymezení současných poznatků z oblasti finanční analýzy a benchmarkingu a následná aplikace užívaných metod a nástrojů v praxi. V první části práce jsou v rámci finanční analýzy představeny jednotlivé metody elementární analýzy. Dále je konkrétně vymezen pojem benchmarking a jeho druhy. Druhá část práce představuje využití jednotlivých poměrových ukazatelů, Altmanova modelu a Indexu IN05 k posouzení finančního stavu dvou vybraných průmyslových společností. Následně je proveden finanční benchmarking těchto vybraných společností. Získané výsledky jsou kriticky zhodnoceny a pro obě společnosti jsou sestaveny návrhy opatření ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti obou daných společností a následné jejich vyhodnocení.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to define current knowledge in the field of financial analysis and benchmarking and subsequent application of the methods and tools used in practice. In the first part of the work, the individual methods of elemental analysis are introduced. Furthermore, the concept of benchmarking and its types are specifically defined. The second part of the work presents the use of ratios, Altman's model and Index IN05 to assess the financial condition of two selected industrial companies. Subsequently, financial benchmarking of these selected companies is performed. The obtained results are critically evaluated and for both companies a proposal of measures to increase the competitiveness of both companies and their subsequent evaluation are compiled.
