Zabezpečení PO v podniku Sellier & Bellot

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the provision of fire protection in the Sellier & Bellot company, a.s. First, the list of buildings within the company facilities is provided; next, a dangerous space is analysed based on the statistics of events during the past 13 years and the number of employees in particular buildings. Due to the company representative’s, Jiří Dvořák’s, wish, I concentrated on the dispatch facility. I present the basic information about the storing hall, flammable materials, initiation sources, presence of persons, behavior of the stored material in case of falling and fire, and access paths. In the second part, I focus on the documentation of fire protection, and I evaluated the in compliances with the present valid legislation. In conclusion, I evaluate the condition of fire protection provision in the entire facility and I propose improvements.
