Vývoj věkového složení obyvatel v Ostravě mezi roky 1968 a 2001

Abstract

Předmětem této diplomové práce je analýza vývoje věkového složení obyvatel v Ostravě mezi roky 1968 a 2001. Hlavními zdroji pro práci jsou data z publikace rozsáhlého sociologického výzkumu, který byl prováděn v roce 1967 - 1968 a data ze Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů z roku 2001. Úvodní část práce popisuje vývoj města Ostravy a faktory, které měly vliv na věkovou strukturu obyvatel v procesu transformace města. Dále práce obsahuje zrestaurovaná data ze sociologického výzkumu z roku 1968, která jsou pomocí překryvné operace porovnávána s daty ze SLDB 2001. Celkové zhodnocení situace a zdůvodnění změn věkové skladby obyvatel je popsáno v závěrečné části a doplněno o mapové výstupy a grafy.

The subject of this thesis is analysis of the age composition of the population in Ostrava between 1968 and 2001. The main data sources are taken from the publication of wide sociological research which was made in 1967 - 1968. The second data source is the Population and Housing Census in 2001. The introductory section of thesis describes the development of the city of Ostrava and the factors that influenced the age structure of population in the process of city transformation. Further work includes reconstructed data from sociological research from 1968 that are using a overlay operation compared with the results of the Population and Housing Census in 2001. The overall conclusion of the situation and the reasoning of the population age structure changes are described in the final section of thesis, followed by the maps and charts outputs.
