Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis addresses the design and implementation of a responsive web and mobile application for automated route optimization in small and medium-sized businesses. It includes a comparative analysis of shortest-path and travelling salesman problem techniques, the design of a modular architecture with a NestJS/TypeScript backend and a React/Next.js frontend styled with Tailwind CSS, and the implementation of an optimization engine leveraging Mapbox API and heuristic algorithms. The prototype was validated on real and simulated datasets, demonstrating significant reductions in travel time and delivery delays.
