Abstract

This diploma thesis propose the partial solutions for the fire safety of timber buildings. The thesis considers requirements connected with the fire safety of buildings and possible ways of improving fire resistance of timber construction. The thesis compare the Czech and foreign regulations for proposing of the timber buildings. It is also focused on the utilization of the active fire safety equipment inside of buildings.
