Abstract
This thesis features laser-photoacoustic spectroscopy in condensed phase – a method based on photoacoustic phenomenon, often used as a complementary method to other well -established spectroscopic methods to study interaction of radiation with a medium, providing energetic and kinetic information about species. The method is tested on porfyrins and a newly synthesized substance – boran cluster. The possibilities of hazardous substances detection and monitoring in water are discussed , as well as the utilization of this method in this domain. The results can be used for further development of fascilities capable of hazardous substances detection in water.
