Abstract

The thesis focuses on the biological means of mass destruction. The work is divided in two parts. The first part gives an overview of the selected biological agents and their characteristics, history of use, detection of these substances and possibilities of a protection against their effects. The second part presents the possible consequences of misuse of these substances on human lives, property, economy, social relations, environment, international relations and critical infrastructure.
