Abstract
Thesis deals with the issue of excessive occurrence of fluorides in metallurgical dust from Třinecké železárny. With the help of sorbents´s efforts to reduce the amount of fluoride below the legislation.
The theoretical part is focused on getting acquainted with waste from steelworks, with examples of technologies from around the world. Fluorides are described in detail and their removal options. The following chapter deals with leaching.
In the practical part there is an introduction to the dust samples from Třinecké železárny, which are analyzed. There is described laboratory testing and evaluation of individual sorbents by which fluorides are removed.
The final part of thesis deals with the stabilization and solidification od fluorides.
