Abstract

The finished work is presented an overview of remediation and reclamation, which are a means for smoothing the effects of mining activities. Introductory part is devoted to review legislation related to issues of reclamation and subsequently described species of reclamation. The next section describes selected sites Sokolov Basin, where the rehabilitation work completed or underway. It is also assessing the benefits of rehabilitation for humans and the environment. The conclusion is included evaluation and recommendations.
