Abstract
The subject of the thesis is the health insurance in practice of the selected insurance companies. This theme was chosen because health insurance in the Czech Republic is legally required. This applies to every citizen.
The aim of this bachelor thesis is approximate to selected characteristics of General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic and Occupational Health Insurance of Employees of Bank, Insurance Companies and Construction Industry and compare them with each other. These characteristics include the number and the age composition of the insured of these Insurance Companies.
There are the legal regulations of public health insurance and basic concepts described in each chapter.
The practical part is aimed to General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic and Occupational Health Insurance of Employees of Banks, Insurance Companies and Construction Industry.
