Abstract

This thesis explores the motivation and job satisfaction of employees in the social services sector. It analyzes their impact on organizational effectiveness and emphasizes their importance for high-quality client care. The theoretical part defines motivation and job satisfaction. It presents motivational theories and methods for identifying the link between motivation and satisfaction. It summarizes findings relevant to the social services field. The practical part analyzes employee satisfaction in five parts of the organization. The aim is to determine how satisfied employees are with the elements and how important they are to them. The subsequent analysis of five districts showed what most influences motivation and satisfaction. Investing in human resources is essential for quality client care. Fair compensation, training, recognition, and a positive work environment lead to higher employee motivation and satisfaction. Based on the findings, proposals and recommendations were developed for the organization to increase employee motivation and satisfaction.
