Abstract

BYSTROŇOVÁ, Blanka. Statistical evaluation of drug production, possession and distribution in the town of Bohumín. Ostrava, 2022. RNDr. Karla Barčová, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis deals with the statistical evaluation of the production, possession and distribution of drugs in the city of Bohumín. It was developed to assess drug abuse in society, focusing primarily on the inhabitants of Bohumín. In the introduction we will deal with the theoretical part of drug crime and we will get acquainted with the environment that we will study, in this case the city of Bohumín. In the next part, the criminal activity associated with the production, possession and distribution of drugs will be statistically evaluated. And the last part will deal with qualitative research techniques to quickly assess drug abuse in society using the method of in-depth interview using the method of "scenarios". By understanding these "scenarios" of drug abuse in the individuals selected for our rapid assessment, we come to valid conclusions, can determine the context of drug abuse in a particular geographical area, and evaluate ways of prevention.
