Abstract
This work deals with the design and the realization of the energy meter focusing on use in the charging station for electric vehicles. The theoretical part is dedicated to description of different types of charging stations, electric vehicle charging methods and connection standards. The electric metering integrated circuit ADE7878, which allows measuring a large amount of parameters, and the microcontroller STM32F407 were used for the realization. The evaluation boards were used for functional testing of individual parts. After that, the custom printed circ6uit board for energy meter was designed and manufactured. Firmware of microcontroller is based on the operating system FreeRTOS. The main task of the control element is to ensure reading data from the metering integrated circuit and to provide them via Ethernet.
