Abstract

The thesis analyzes the stocks of packaging material DS SMITH company Varroc Lighting Systems s.r.o., is also done sorting items by importance, calculate safety stock for the items that are most important for the company and calculate order levels. The theoretical part introduces the company Varroc Lighting Systems s.r.o., which manufactures components for automobiles world's leading brands and financial analysis of the company. Furthermore, the development of logistics, we describe the activities associated with the logistics of shopping, then they are given ordering systems and ABC analysis. In the practical part, the system of procurement in the company Varroc Lighting Systems Ltd., is also done sorting inventory items by ABC. For items in the group is calculated safety stock by two degrees of security, and also for these items is calculated reorder level.
