Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on safety issues in automated manufacturing, specifically the application of advanced safety elements on a robotic production line for the extrusion of ceramic chimney liners. The theoretical part provides a detailed overview of the legislative and normative framework for machinery safety, risk assessment methods, safety technologies, and cyber security aspects. The practical part deals with the analysis of a specific robotic line, identification of critical risk areas, and the design of technical and organizational measures aimed at improving operational safety. The outcome of the thesis is a proposal for an optimized worker protection system and a safer operation of the automated workplace in accordance with current standards.
