Abstract

The thesis "Development and Evaluation of Debt Relief Process in the Czech Republic and Assessment of its consequences for Debtor" is focused on the development of the insolvency law primarily, the institute of debt relief. Basic concepts and the development of the insolvency law are defined in the first theoretical part of the thesis. In the second theoretical part of the thesis we define the institute of debt relief as a form of solution to the bankruptcy of the debtor - citizens in the context of novelization of the insolvency act. In the practical part we compare examples of the debt relief process before and after the novellas take effect.
