Abstract

An Analysis of Employee Appraisal System in a Chosen Organization This thesis deals with the issue of employee evaluation in a selected organization. The aim is to analyze the current system of employee evaluation in the heart of customer service of GE Money, Inc. and recommend appropriate proposals for its improvement. The theoretical and methodological part is devoted to the evaluation system in general, as well as criteria, forms and methods of employee evaluation. The application-verification part is divided into sub-chapters. It includes the characteristics of selected organizations, as well as the previously mentioned analysis of the current system of employee evaluation, research conducted through a questionnaire survey among employees and last but not least, the proposals and recommendations aimed at streamlining the current evaluation process. The key proposals and recommendations for setting individual goals of employees during the appraisal, acquisition track the performance of these individual targets reduce the frequency of evaluated calls and the introduction of a new method of evaluating assistants from their colleagues. The reported proposals and recommendations are based on linking theoretical knowledge with practical reality of work in society and also in accordance with the outputs of the research.
