Bezpečnostní studie odolnosti cylindrických vložek vůči zařízení typu Lockpick GUN

Abstract

The presented diploma thesis examines the resistance of security cylinders to non-destructive overcoming by an electric lockpick gun. The practical part of the work is designed as an experimental verification of the resistance of a comprehensive line of FAB-brand security cylinders to the KLOM High-Performance Electro Pick. The results of the experiment confirmed the correlation between the certified class and the resistance time. While the cylinder of lower security classes was overcome in a matter of seconds, the cylinders of higher security classes met the normative time limits. The study found that in certain situations, the electric pick gun can serve as an effective accelerator of the opening process when combined with the manual lockpicking method. The results also included a mechanoscopic analysis of the cylinders after the experiment and the identification of specific micro-marks left by the electric lockpick gun on the cylinder. At the end of the thesis, a theoretical design of a new security element is presented, which could significantly increase the resistance of a lower-class security cylinder.
