Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the revitalization of the village center of Janov in Jeseniky. The Subject to recovery are objects centered around the village common. Its geometrical shape refers to the rich history of the place. The first outbreaks is the current historic pub, as one of the symbols of identity of the village. Another solved object is newly proposed spa building which is connected to the historical tradition and also is a new impulse to recovery the place. The purpose of my work is architectural design which is based on the history of the region, emphasizes the identity of the place, but fully respects the current requirements for the use and the expected development of the village.
