Abstract
This thesis is focusing on the evaluation of education and advancement of the medical school employees. Theses is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part summarizes theoretical knowledge regarding the employees´ education and advancement. Practical part describes the organization, analyses the current state of organization´s employees´ education and advancement. Each and every finding has been summed up in the drafts and recommendations section.
The practical part has been conducted by questionnaire research. Analysis has been furthermore supplied by internal documents of the school, especially by annual reports and economy reports. Questionnaire research took place online, every employee was invited to take part in it. The questions were both open and closed. The answers were processed into a graph and properly commented on.
It has been found, by the analysis of the researched data, that the school employees are aware of the importance of the continuous education and therefore they are lifelong learning even beyond the compulsory training, however they are often confronted with high workload. Among the most used education methods belong lectures and seminars. The most significant motivation in the employee´s personal sphere is the personal growth. The employees mostly choose education to self-realize, to learn more, especially in their expertise field. Questionnaire research also showed non-pedagogical employees will to educate themselves, sadly, their possibilities to do so are much smaller in comparison to their pedagogical colleagues. Propositions have been suggested based on the acquired data. It has been recommended to design a central database of educational activities, to offer educational courses to those non-pedagogical employees using the pedagogical ones and to support vertical discussion between employees and their superiors about their advancement and education.
