Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement an information system (IS), which will be used for archiving and managing knowledge in project teams. The system will also allow the storage and management comments on a feedback on the knowledge already contained in the information system. The work describes in theoretical foundations of knowledge management issues, the various stages in the development of an information system - from initial analysis of system requirements through specific design of individual components to implement of application specific performance. The system is for easy of access designed as a web application with data stored in relational database engine running on the server. The work also included a detailed chapter describing the technology selected, along with reasons why it was precisely this choice.
