Komparace spořících a investičních produktů vybraných bank

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare savings and investment options of a bank client. Specifically, time deposits, savings accounts and mutual funds are examined. This topic is relevant to almost all bank customers who want to value their funds through commercial banks. The theoretical part includes definitions and characteristics of each product, focusing in particular on their functioning, advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part, the thesis is first devoted to a brief characterization of the six selected banks and the parameters of each product. In comparing savings products in the application part, the current interest rates, deposit limits and fees associated with these products are used. In the investment product comparison, the equity funds of the selected banks are assessed, mainly on the basis of their historical returns and volatility. The application section concludes with a focus on the application of the DCA method to individual mutual funds and then compares these results. The study concludes with a summary in which the most advantageous savings account is identified, followed by two time deposits and a mutual fund based on historical returns and the DCA method.
