Absolvování individuální odborné praxe

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis describes my individual professional practice, which I absolved during the third year of my study at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Department of Power Engineering. During my practice at Railway Infrastructure Administration I dealt with various tasks, which have all been included in this thesis, most of them being administrative, such as the creation of singe-line diagrams, local operating and safety regulations and even the supervision of repair plans. Due to the need of data verification, revisions and some manual tasks I was occasionally able to leave my office and get out in the field. The tools I used for my administrative work include basic office software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or SchémataCAD. For budget related work I used software called Kros. To complete the various tasks I was assigned I had to use knowledge gained from norms, regulations, laws and internal measures. Overall, this thesis describes my work from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
