Porovnání numerické simulace proudění vody a vzduchu programy ANSYS Fluent a COMSOL Multiphysics

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to compare the numerical simulation of water and air flow using ANSYS Fluent and Comsol Multiphysics. In the thesis, first a detailed description of fluid flow was made, three equations describing fluid flow were formulated based on the physical conservation laws, and the possibility of solving them by numerical methods was discussed. Subsequently, the basic principles of numerical simulations were introduced with a focus on fluid dynamics issues, and the k-ω SST turbulence model was chosen from a number of mathematical models for the purpose of the thesis. A literature review was carried out on single-phase and multiphase flow simulation. Subsequently, the simulated system was described, and separate simulations of air and water flow were developed. By analyzing the simulation results, the programs were evaluated as equivalent.
