Abstract

The main objective of this diploma thesis is a proposal of the system based on fuel cells for electricity supply and its technical – economic analysis. In the first part of thesis are theoretically discussed the types of fuel cells and described their basic features. The third chapter deals with converters for fuel cell cooperation. The next chapter contains the proposal of a fuel cell system for electricity supply of the object in the autonomous operation. There is also done research of the actual use of similar systems in the world. In the fifth chapter are made proposals of further two systems for power supply of the object. Systems on the principle of photovoltaic and electric generator are made for the purpose of economic comparison of a fuel cell with other variants suitable for island mode. The last section deals with the economic evaluation of all proposed systems. There is evaluated the efficiency of investment to the proposed projects for electricity supply.
