Zefektivnění managementu ubytovacího zařízení

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of managing an accommodation facility that provides long-term housing for individuals in difficult social situations. The main objective of the thesis is to propose measures leading to more efficient management of the selected accommodation facility based on an analysis of its current operations. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic management concepts, the specifics of managing services and accommodation facilities, human resource management, issues related to social housing, and economic indicators for evaluating the facility’s effectiveness. The practical part focuses on the characteristics of the analyzed facility, an analysis of its organizational structure, operational management, human resources, and economic functioning. The thesis also includes an economic analysis of operations focused on costs, profitability, the break-even point, and the facility’s occupancy rate. Based on the analyses conducted, recommendations are formulated aimed at optimizing operating costs, improving the organization of employee work, preventing conflicts among clients, and modernizing equipment. The results of the thesis show that effective management can significantly contribute to the stability of the facility’s operations, an increase in the quality of services provided, and a more efficient use of available capacity.
