Abstract

This thesis is focused on the metal foam and its many uses and production industry. The theoretical part is devoted mainly metallurgical processes producing metal foams with stochastic porous structure, as well as their practical application in industry. The practical part focuses on actual production and properties of cast foams with stochastic structure of alloys of Al, Cu and Fe by foundry.
