Abstract

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of new type refractory linings in tundish to the subsequent increase in the hydrogen content in steel when is going on continuous casting. The theoretical part is a summary of the study of Czech and foreign literature and is devoted to the mechanism of hydrogen in liquid steel melting with the negative properties of this gas on the quality of steel. Detection of possible sources of contamination and the partial elimination of hydrogen in steel is focused on tundish in the field of continuous casting using new types of refractory linings. Indication of this new technology, based on chemical additives, no added water ends by comparing three types of refractory concretes in the experimental section. It is based on the measured values of the hydrogen content in steel probes Hydris after (RH) process, then the measurement in the tundish. For comparisons of the three types of refractory linings have been created graphs with measured values the content of dissolved hydrogen in steel in each tundish separately. At the conclusion of this work, the results are off the charts compared and evaluated.
