Abstract
The topic of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the development of state social support benefits at selected contact workplaces of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of non-insurance social benefits, social policy, and social security in the Czech Republic and on the authorities that are in charge of administration of the system. The practical part characterizes the administrative authority of the state social support, analyses the benefits of state social support in terms of their number and the value of the cost of payment of allowances at the contact workplaces of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic in Ostrava and Opava. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse and evaluate the benefits of state social support in the years 2014-2019.
The recommendation based on the analysis would be to limit or reduce the volume of legislation that defines the area of social benefits. Legislative changes in this area are certainly needed, but they should be comprehensive, mutually supportive and lead to a simplification of administrative services as well as the conditions for qualification for allowances. The analysis showed that social benefits, with small deviations, have basically a declining trend both in terms of their number and the cost of their payment at both selected workplaces.
