Hodnocení efektivity veřejných knihoven

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the status and development of technical efficiency in terms of individual regional libraries for the years 2008 and 2015. The main research tool is a data packing method - Data Envelopment Analysis and Malmquist index. The theoretical part defines approaches to the evaluation of technical efficiency, mathematically explains the methods used and evaluates the functioning of the regional libraries, in particular from an economic point of view. The research part works with two models that analyze the selected libraries, using the criteria set. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the hypothesis set in the introduction.
