Průmysl 4.0 v České Republice a Německu

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic and Germany, the impact of Industry 4.0 on the labour market in both countries and to propose recommendations for economic policy measures. It is important to start with the industrial history of both countries. Czech industry in its industrial beginnings was one of the more advanced ones, while the same cannot be said about the beginnings of German industry. Today, the opposite is true. The topic of the bachelor thesis is Industry 4.0, which is about the introduction and deepening of robotization, automation and digitalization in all sectors and areas of the economy. Industry 4.0 is gaining ground in both countries, but of course there is a lot of room for improvement. The practical part of the thesis examines the impact of Industry 4.0 on the labour market in both countries, with the key factors being the level and structure of education and then the structure of occupations that are affected by it. A significant part of the Bachelor's thesis is also devoted to students of computer science and engineering. Students in these fields appear to be crucial for the further development of Industry 4.0.
