Abstract
This work offers the way of exact calculation the constant of the micro-normal for classic Microlog, which is free of influence of the electrode potentials and an influence of the dimensions of the electrode pad. This makes possible calculate exactly the constant of the micro-lateral, too, and to make an exact calibration of the method with the help of the resistor set.
Calculation of the electrode constant of the micro-normal for classic Microlog having disc electrodes is solved in the plane where the electrodes occupy an arbitrary position. The above calculation is made for general conditions. If you introduce easier conditions into formulae derived, you will get to those formulae characterizing Microlog with the disc electrodes. These are derived owing to Cartesian coordinates and polar coordinates. They confirm each other through final results.
The disc electrodes are shown to be affected tiny with the electrode dimensions for short distances between both electrodes. An influence of the above dimensions is rapidly falling down and
the curves for various ratios A/a are linearized. There is possible to use, for the linear segment of curve, the equation characterized the point electrodes with negligible error.
