Statistické vyhodnocení toků komunálních odpadů

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is statistical processing of municipal waste flows in the years 2016-2021 in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The theoretical part describes the basic legislation related to the management and recovery or disposal of municipal waste. It also describes municipal waste and its recoverable components, mainly paper, plastic, glass, metal and biodegradable waste. Data on the total production and management of municipal waste and economic development in the Moravian-Silesian Region obtained from the Statistical Office and the Waste Management Information System were evaluated (compared) using statistical methods. The results of these analyses are processed and interpreted in the conclusion of this thesis, with subsequent recommendations for reducing the amount of municipal waste disposed of by landfilling.
