Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to establish the market value of the company Penam, a. s. to 1st January 2013 by selected yield methods for the purpose of potential sale. The first part is theoretical part. First, the basic concepts related to valuation of companies here are define and valuation procedure. Also described is financial analysis, strategic analysis, financial plan, various methods of valuation of the companies, cost of capital and sensitivity analysis. In the next part, the chosen company is introduced and the strategic and financial analysis of the company is carried out. From strategic analysis was found to forecasting of sales, which was reflected in the financial plan, which is compiled for 5 years. In the last chapter are firstly determined by the cost of capital by using the modular model that uses the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Then, the value of the company is calculated using Discounted Cash Flow method DCF - Entity and method of Economic Value Added EVA - Entity. Sensitivity analysis is a part of both methods. In conclusion the obtained results are compared and evaluated.
