Abstract

Bachelor's work delas with possibilities of usage of jet pumps in emergency operations of fire brigade units. Jet pumps are in this work mentions as a ejectors which serve to pumping a water from a great depths. The work is divided to five parts. First part deals with statistical monitoring of events in which were made pumping of a water and identifying, using questionnaires, if were,or in how many cases and in which situations, ejectors used. Second part describes possible ways of pumping water from greater depths. Third part deals with the description of function of jet pomp and types of jet pumps used in PA. Fourth part is focused directly on ejectors, their construction and usage and technical specification. Fifth part is focused on the design and construction of the effectiveness of measuring on commonly used ejectors which are in the equipment of fire brigade units. Conclusion of the work will serve to ponder whether in this age have ejectors still their usage in PA.
