Návrh na využití vybraných brownfields (staveb) v okrese Olomouc

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to propose appropriate use of selected brownfields buildings in the Olomouc district. The dissertation is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on the concept of brownfield and problems related to it, as well as on the typology, the regeneration process, the situation in the Czech Republic and Europe. Another chapter is devoted to a brief description of brownfields in the Olomouc district, including a description of the specific brownfield buildings in Olomouc. At the end of the chapter there are characterized two crucial buildings for the thesis - former kindergarten and cow house. The last but one chapter is practically oriented and includes own proposals. The first proposal is concerned with the conversion of the former nursery school, gas boiler house and kitchen into multifunction house for the elderly and young couples, and the second proposal deals with the reconstruction of the former cowshed and joinery into pension. There is described the possible use of buildings, including technical solutions, rough calculation of the cost of the building and summarization. The above-described proposals could in the future become an inspiration for investors and communities in finding new uses for these buildings.
