Abstract

This diploma thesis named „The Analysis of Purchasing Behavior in the Company” deals with the analysis of the present purchasing behavior in the ON Semiconductor company. The goal of this thesis is to analyze internal and external environment of the purchasing behavior in the ON Semiconductor company and to subsequently find out the significance weaknesses of the purchasing behavior for the company and to get the feedback on Behavior Department work. This thesis deals with the potential threats only marginally. The focus of this thesis is the SWOT analysis, where the significance was assigned to the weaknesses in the cooperation with workers of Purchasing Department and the most important weaknesses were specified based on the Paret’s analysis. The part of this thesis is also the description of both the selection suppliers and supply management and also the description of input materials classification in the company.
