Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis rates fire safety in the accommodation facilities built before technical fire safety standard in forced. The bulk of the work is focused on evacuation routes security and means of safe evacuation of people. In the preamble there are a classification and a designation of the accommodation facilities and a summary of legislation related to building-up and fire safety after World War II presented. I point out shortcomings of a chosen object and I propound suitable remedial measure. At the end of my work I itemize requirements analysis according to the range of construction work depends on financial expenses. The objective of my work is to draft to the owners of accommodation facilities an effective and financially manageable precaution to raise their guests´ safety.
