Abstract

My dissertation deals with issues concerning an operation of fire technology (trucks) under exceptional circumstances. The first part is focused on a count of fire equipment units (trucks) at individual fire stations as well as their categorization into individual sub-groups based on type of truck used. The second part contains an evaluation of the instruction manuals for individual unit types as supplied by manufacturers. Focus is directed onto a maintenance and driving under exceptional conditions. The third part elaborates preparation principles of fire technology before driving out as well as driving under extraordinary conditions. The last part includes checking principles used after return from extraordinary traffic conditions as well as principles of consecutive maintenance following the end of emergency incident prior to equipment being returned back to action-ready state.
