Abstract

The objective of the submitted thesis “Implementation of 360 Degree Feedback in a Firm” is assessments of competencies manager using methods of this particular technique for human resource development. It should give the relevant bases for effective decision making about useful types of development and education for particular manager. The theoretical part of the work is focusing on the definition of 360 ° feedback with its other appropriateness. The following part is focusing on the definition of competencies and qualified models clarifying what is evaluated about managers. It is focusing especially on the definition of competencies, using of jurisdictional models and methods of measuring of the competency’s level. In practical part of the work I attempted to identify good and bad aspects of manager and I made up the plane of development with specialised training programmes based on this identification. The manager should be more determined and flexible. Furthermore he should better resign to changes and improve his self-organisation by prioritise the most important activities. The managers focus should lie on the assignment of tasks to and between his employees and on improved techniques of conflict resolution. I hope my thesis will be profitable for the company and the manager will take some of the hints and recommendations into consideration managed in the work.
