Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the procedures and outputs of the measurements using the Global Navigation Satellite System, especially by evaluating the accuracy of the results obtained from the measurements and comparing these results with the obtained digital terrain models. The work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part is about selecting a suitable terrain measurement device, getting to know the features and user interface of this device. This part follows the theoretical-practical section, which deals with the possibilities of measurement outputs, namely digital terrain models. The final part is a practical part. It describes the procedure of measuring the terrain, the results obtained and their incorporation into the terrain model. The conclusion of the practical part fulfills the stated objective, ie the comparison of the results obtained by the mathematical calculation and the results from the measurement. Also included are terrain models that are linked to the use of measured data to eliminate mathematical computations.
