Abstract
This work is focused in study numerical modeling of cold swaging process. Bar for swaging is circular bar diameter 30mm and material is a tungsten alloy 91W-6Ni-3Co after sintering. Reduction of cross section area is 30 %. The aim of numerical simulation is describe distribution of strain, temperature and material flow during pass. For evaluation of mechanical properties before and after swaging are measure of microhardness, strength and elongation. For study of structure are used EDS analysis of phases, optical and SEM images and EBSD analysis. Distribution of microhardness in cross section corresponds to the strain, because with increase strain increase hardness too. Microhardness increases in direction from center to surface.
