Lokalizace závad na metalických kabelech

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with locating of metallic cables faults, parameters affecting the properties of lines and selection of the appropriate measurement method of efficient and accurate locating of faults. There are analyzed the best known methods of solving these faults, and describes their properties. The thesis includes a review of available professional equipment by used measuring method, and price comparison. There are described measurement procedures used by modern companies at the time of solving this bachelor thesis. Two cable reels 500 m and 1 000 m of spooled SYKFY cable were measured while faults simulated, such as conductivity, wire break, connection of two wires and calculation of the total cable length. The thesis contains protocols focused on this issue for further educational purpose of vocational subjects at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava.
