Připravenost průmyslového podniku na NATECH havárii

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on Natech accidents – technological accidents triggered by natural hazards, specifically floods, in industrial facilities. The first part of the thesis introduces the concept of Natech accidents, covering definitions, approaches to Natech risk management in the European Union and the Czech Republic, methods of Natech risk assessment, and an overview of the eNatech accident database. The second part presents the flood protection management system at the national, regional, and industrial levels. This is followed by case studies of past Natech events, analyzing flood-related incidents in industrial enterprises in the Czech Republic and abroad. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the current level of preparedness of a Seveso establishment for flood events, accompanied by a proposal of improvement measures.
