Abstract
Thesis is aimed on linear and adaptive filtering for digital signals processing. There is a comprehensive overview of basic characteristics and operations of digital signals and systems. There are explained principles of linear filtering, which forms the basis of methods of digital signals processing. Practically, there are methods of the proposal demonstrated linear filters FIR and IIR in the Matlab environment. Furthermore, this work is devoted to the principles of adaptive filtering, which currently is its application in many modern applications. Using the Matlab environment is simulated adaptive systém for noise suppression in radio (mobile) communication. Use of this systém is investigated two basic adaptive LMS and RLS algorithms. These algorithms were compared on several aspects: mathematical complexity, the speed of convergence, convergence error, quality monitoring, the degree of noise suppression, etc., and the results are considered as objective and subjective criteria.
