Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on a method of stabilization of hazardous waste arising from hazardous waste incineration. This method is the solidification of fly ash with cement matrix. Mixture formed by mixing fly ash, cement and water is left to solidify. It led to the formation of matrix of which were made water leachates, which were subsequently analysed. Based on the analysis was evaluated best binder, in terms of fixation of toxic metals whose concentration in the water leachate did not exceed the limit values for leaching of class II according to the valid legislation of the Czech Republic. The results showed, that the cement is suitable binder for stabilization of toxic metals from hazardous waste, it is an afforable and available which allowing useof this method in the future.
