Abstract

VLIV LISABONSKÉ SMLOUVY NA FUNGOVÁNÍ INSTITUCÍ EVROPSKÉ UNIE

Cílem této práce je popsat změny a dopady, které do fungování hlavních institucí Evropské unie vnáší Lisabonská smlouva. Konkrétně jde o bližší pohled na Radu Evropské unie, Evropský parlament a Evropskou komisi. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na vývoj institucí od doby vzniku Evropského společenství uhlí a oceli, přes Evropské hospodářské společenství a Evropské společenství pro atomovou energii až po současnou Evropskou unii. Druhá kapitola se zabývá Lisabonskou smlouvou, jejími předchůdci – Smlouvou z Nice a Ústavou pro Evropu, jejími částmi – Smlouvou o Evropské unii a Smlouvou o fungování Evropské unie, Listinou základních práv, procesem ratifikace a názory občanů na její přijetí. Třetí kapitola obsahuje změny, které přináší Lisabonská smlouva do fungování Evropské unie, její dopady na instituce i naprosté novinky, které přináší.

THE LISBON TREATY AND ITS IMPACT ON THE EUROPEAN UNION INSTITUTIONS FUNCTIONING

The aim of this Bachelor´s Thesis is to describe changes and impacts that the Lisbon Treaty brings on functioning of the main institutions of the European Union. Specifically, it is focused on the Council of the European Union, the European Parliament and the European Commission. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the development of institutions since the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community, through the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community to the current European Union. The second chapter deals with the Lisbon Treaty, its predecessor - the Treaty of Nice and the Constitution, its components, Charter of Fundamental Rights, the ratification process and people's views about its adoption. The third chapter contains the changes which brought about the Lisbon Treaty in the functioning of the European Union, its impact on the institutions and complete news that brings.
