Abstract
Many various fluid simulating techniques were developed in last few years. Task of this diploma thesis is to study them and to implement waterway simulation based on the most suitable technique. Fluid simulations are nowdays still too challenging for interactive real-time applications, so the great deal of this thesis is devoted to simulation algorithms acceleration. Using graphics card for time-consuming calculations is the most effective accleration tool. This option is offered by NVIDIA CUDA technology. Achieved results are analyzed in series of tests.
