Abstract

Conversion of the chateau in Hrubčice and design of a wellness center in the chateau complex The diploma thesis deals with the area of the castle park in the village of Hrubčice u Prostějova. During the 1950s, the chateau was inappropriately converted into apartments and offices, which reduced the historical value of the building. The original historical facade of the chateau was disturbed by an inappropriate surface treatment. The castle building is now unused and is slowly falling into disrepair. The aim of the work will be to revitalize this area and create a new use of the existing castle and hop granary. In my work I will deal with the conversion of the castle into a castle hotel and the creation of a new more generous concept of the castle park. A new wellness center building will be designed in the area to complement the overall composition of the area. The building of the former hop granary will be newly used as a restaurant for visitors to the castle hotel.
